What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
One lesson that I learned that played a huge role is being defensible. When working for the DOJ, you have to be defensible about everything. Every email you sent, every message you sent, can be used against you.
Therefore, you have to be very careful what you say. Being defensible, and being able to work your way backwards and keep track of that, has played a significant role in this particular career.
