As a data specialist for the Department of Justice, my main responsibilities are to ensure that case-related data gets loaded into a platform called eDiscovery. This platform is used by DOJ attorneys and legal staff to investigate cases.
I also ensure data validation within the parameters of DOJ policies, procedures, and security compliance. Another responsibility is to document and create IT procedures and policies. This is done in order to train attorneys and legal staff on various workflows.
