Favorite Parts Of Working In The CA Department Of Justice As A Data Specialist
Vikram enjoys working at the CA Department of Justice because the DOJ ensures that people are helped, and there is immense satisfaction in knowing "my team and I worked on that" when large, public-facing cases are closed. Another benefit is the opportunity to sharpen "leadership skills" since the Department of Justice likes to keep all their employees in-house.

What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?
What I enjoy the most about the government industry and DOJ in particular is that the DOJ ensures that people are helped. When a large public-facing case is closed and all media is covering it, and then I know that my team and I worked on that, it just feels good and puts a smile on our faces.
Also, what I enjoy about the industry is that there are a lot of opportunities to sharpen your leadership skills if that's the avenue you are wanting to go. They do help a lot with working on your leadership skills, and they like to keep all their employees in-house, so that's always a benefit.
