As an international student, how has that impacted how you've navigated your career?
The reason I think this question is important is that I want to motivate everyone out there to go out of their country at least once in their lives. This could be for a working experience, a student experience, or whatever you choose.
I feel this is not only important for ourselves—which is obviously the most important person in our lives—but it also generates a lot of impact within you. There's also an impact in making a difference to people around you as well.
Every time you have an exchange with different people from different backgrounds and origins, it develops you as a person. But you're also representing your culture, your country, and where you're coming from.
I've heard from others saying, "Hey, you just shared something that I didn't know about your country," or "I didn't realize that things were like that." This is from my experience in Brazil.
If you have the opportunity, definitely think about having an international experience. Life is too short not to do that. That's definitely my advice here.
