What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I feel like the visibility of the impacts of your work is immediate. As I work with partners and help them solve their strategy issues, like how they can reach more people on the platform or monetize better within YouTube in the digital space, you can see the impact.
As you build those plans with your partner, perhaps a week or a month from the first meeting, you can already see what's happening. That's the greatest part for me, to be fully honest.
When I joined YouTube, I mostly worked with creators, unlike the media companies I work with now. The smaller your stakeholder, the more immediate impact you see.
Even though it takes more time now to see the impact of the work you're doing with your partner, you can still see it. Having that feeling that you're truly making a difference truly motivates you.
It motivates you to start your workday knowing that whatever you're doing is making a difference out there.
