What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?
One thing I like is that even though my job resembles that of a business consultant, there's also a creative part to it. There are no right answers to the things we do at YouTube.
This can be frustrating for my partners, as they sometimes want a simple solution or a direct answer. It's not like simple math, where you just do X and get Y.
We're always experimenting with different approaches. While that can sometimes drive me crazy, wondering if we're on the right strategy, having that space to experiment and be creative with solutions is definitely something that generates intrinsic motivation.
This motivates me to try my best and acquire as much knowledge as possible. Having that creative aspect in solving complex business solutions is what motivates me on a day-to-day basis.
