How would you describe people that typically thrive in your industry?
I would say mission-driven and energetic. Transformational, too. The people I've met always wanted to transform; they weren't complacent.
They would see opportunities to change the status quo. It didn't matter if the area they were working in was doing okay. They wanted to do it better.
That sense of always wanting to change things for the better, and also resilient—that's the other word I was looking for. So, I think those are characteristics I can find in many of the successful people I've met in my career, specifically at Scotians.
