What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
What's interesting is that the broad variety of different jobs I've held have led me to this place where I've picked up unexpected, transferable skills. I was a tactical marketing analyst and worked in sales planning, where I handled inventory and logistics.
All of those experiences helped me gain the autonomy that I most enjoy about my current role. As a result, I was able to establish my voice, feel confident in it, and most importantly, feel supported and have the tools to put my voice forward.
It's really important as you move through your career. When you start out, you're like the little fish in the pond, following everyone and learning. But there comes a time when you're able and ready to step forward and assert your voice and yourself. That's one of the things I like most about my current role.
