What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I'm really looking forward to a lot of things. A few of them would include the amount of deal flow, the companies I'll be working with. For me specifically, I'll be working in M&A.
I'm not industry-specific, so I could be working with a gambling company, a consumer company like beauty and products, or a furniture company. The nice thing is you have this wide breadth of industries. You're learning about so many different companies and so many different industries.
I'm also looking forward to being exposed to the business world and what is out there. I'm looking forward to the volatility of work. Some days it could be working on marketing materials, figuring out how to best place a company to be sold. Other days, it could be working within the financial model, specifically in Excel.
In addition, I'm looking forward to the people aspect of the business. From the company I'm joining, I've seen that the people are extremely friendly and hard workers. I think it's huge to find a company and an industry where you find people with similar skillsets and similar interests.
