Could you walk me through your career path? Please start with your experiences in college and any internships or jobs you've had before your current role.

For sure. That's a great question. Back in college, I was deciding between engineering or medical school. About halfway through, I decided to go to medical school and chose classes to support that.

Along the way, I didn't have many job experiences until my junior year of college when I did a research fellowship in Houston. After that, it helped reaffirm that medical school was the right decision for me.

After graduating college, I worked in a lab for about six months while applying to med school. Then I got in, started med school, and here we are.
