How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?

I would say that this applies not just to this industry, but to any industry in general. The individuals in these fields are passionate about their business. For them, it has to be as much fun as it is work.

They are passionate about their product and their service, and it shows in the way they interact with others. Another type of person who would thrive in this industry is someone who knows how to manage personalities.

They are self-aware, and you'd be surprised how many people don't necessarily have that skill set and need to develop it. It's about being able to manage the personalities of those they work with.

The last skill that I think is important for someone to thrive in the industry is knowing how to influence strategic decision-makers at the highest level. They have the ability and capacity to influence higher-level individuals within the industry.
