What have you learned about this role that you wish someone would have told you before you entered the industry?

Don't doubt what you're doing and that you're making a difference, even when you're not feeling confident. Many of us feel like everyone has to be on board, love what we're doing, and learn from it.

But honestly, all it takes is one person. You don't know who's watching, listening, or who you might be impacting with what you're saying or doing. So, keep pushing forward.

Know that what you're doing is making a difference, whether it's for one person or a thousand. That's something I've learned in this role.

There are times, being human, when I wonder if I'm doing this for no reason, or if anyone is even paying attention or cares. It's important to snap back, don't doubt yourself, and have confidence in what you're doing.
