What are your main responsibilities within your current role?

Where do I start, to name a few? I support our DRGs at SoundCloud. DRGs are Diversity Resource Groups.

These are equivalent to ERGs, which are Employee Resource Groups at other companies. I do a lot of driving collaboration across all different teams and departments.

This includes working with our music, marketing, social, people, and finance teams, among others. I manage different partnerships with DEI learning vendors and external DEI-related speakers.

This means anyone who wants to come to SoundCloud and talk about different DEI topics, or provide unconscious bias training or allyship workshops. I also oversee our internal and external communication when it comes to DEI.

I give a DEI perspective to anything that goes out on SoundCloud's platform, but also to any communication shared internally. I make sure things use inclusive language and that we're customizing different workshops. The list goes on, but those are my main responsibilities.
