What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
As a medical assistant, my main responsibilities are assisting the providers when they see patients. This includes making sure the rooms are stocked and bringing patients back into the rooms to get their vitals.
I also ensure patients sign consent forms for any procedures or testing we do. This involves cleaning and setting up the rooms, and assisting providers if they need help during procedures. I also help take notes, essentially scribing.
