How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
I'd say people who are hardworking and driven. Goal-oriented people that can take a long-term view on their career.
When you start in real estate, there's so much to learn and so many experienced people. They've closed hundreds of deals or developed hundreds of properties. They know so much more than you, and it can feel like an uphill battle.
But just having that long-term mindset and being passionate about the work is important. Sometimes you're juggling tons of deadlines and working long hours. If you're not passionate about it, it's going to be torture.
So, I would just say people that are very passionate about it, hardworking, and driven.
