What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I like that it's fast-paced and entrepreneurial. Although you're working for a certain brokerage, it's really your own book of business, and you can execute things as you see fit.
There isn't much management or red tape. We do have certain values and processes we have to uphold, but your team is a reflection of your own entrepreneurial goals, your clients, and how you do things. I think that's cool.
I also like that it's a pretty competitive business. There are pluses and minuses with that, but as someone who played sports growing up and is highly competitive, I think it fits really well. It's a good driving motivational force to be competing against groups on pretty much every listing.
I also like that it's dynamic; every deal is different. We cover all of Northern California, which is unique. Not every brokerage team does that; many are specialized and only focus on private client deals in San Francisco or Sacramento. We cover the entire Bay Area, the Monterey area, and up the I-80 corridor into Sacramento. So, it's fun, and there's always something different.
