What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
My favorite part of my role is the ability to collaborate with my team members. We're a small department and we're spread apart geographically, but the personalities of the people on the team are just so easy to work with, willing to help, and nice to be around. I really enjoy that.
Honestly, the people aspect is most important to me. We have such great people at our subsidiaries and on our team. It really makes work a pleasure a lot of the time, though not always.
We don't do it as much anymore with COVID, but when I do get to go out in person to the subsidiaries and see the different parts of the country and the businesses in action, it's fun. It gets a little tedious at times when you're just sitting in an office alone doing the work.
But going out and seeing things in action, being around people you enjoy, and working towards a common goal – I think that's probably my favorite part.
