What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
Sure. During my undergrad, I developed the relevant skills that would help me succeed in my career. I did my undergrad in Computer Engineering.
Back then, I could code, but I found data mining and data science much more interesting. So I improved my data skills with electives in data mining courses during my senior year.
I also took online courses to enhance relevant skills outside of school. Once you know this is the right pathway, you try to gain lots of relevant experience and learn from things outside of school to develop yourself. This will make you more competitive in your career right after college.
