Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Please include any internships or jobs you had before your current role.
I'm currently in my second year as a full-time MBA student at UCLA Anderson. My most recent job was as a program manager in customer experience at Foodpanda, an online food ordering platform in Thailand.
I graduated with a computer engineering degree from a university in Thailand. There, I worked on a Capstone project creating an online game that handled simultaneous users, similar to League of Legends and Dota.
After graduation, I started my career in supply chain and data science at SCG, the largest paper and packaging company in Thailand. I gained a lot of experience there identifying opportunities and developing internal tools to improve efficiency. For example, I partnered with operations teams and engineers to develop raw material optimization tools that lowered overproduction at cotton plants.
Then, I wanted to explore a different industry. I later joined one of the Big Four companies, where I worked as an IT and data analytics consultant with multiple clients across various domains. I built on my tech skills, especially in risk and fraud management.
For instance, I created an automated fraud detection and analytics platform to decrease the number of fraudulent plots. Later, I wanted more exposure to B2C tech products, so I joined Foodpanda, one of the largest food delivery tech firms in Thailand.
