What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
Currently, my main responsibilities involve a lot of drafting documents. This includes drafting complaints, demands, mediation briefs, and discovery requests.
Discovery requests are essentially questions from defense counsel that we need to discuss with the client to gather answers. I also collect documents, such as medical and employment records, because I am at an employment law firm.
Additionally, I handle client intakes. I'm in charge of interviewing potential new clients who wish to start a case with us.
