Transcript
As someone who identifies as an immigrant woman of color, how has that impacted how you've navigated your career?
It has impacted my fire for representation. In any room that I walk into, I advocate for the fact that oftentimes I'm the only person that looks like this. I'm the only person who is an immigrant. I'm the only person who is of color. I'm the only person who maybe knows how to speak multiple languages.
All of those things matter. I'm the only person who went off and got a degree. I'm the only person who had to fight these internal battles that people don't see in order for me to have these conversations with these powerful men.
So, I'm not intimidated by this because I've been fighting my whole life. I think that's it.
