What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?

I enjoy the people aspect. I enjoy making people happy and giving them guidance when I can, and having them trust me. Overall, I just want to make them happy with the transaction, especially on the real estate side.

On the investment side, I really enjoy connecting people with each other. I have a wide range of connections because I've lived in San Francisco for so long, so I just know a lot of people. It becomes a very small city, and I like connecting the dots.

So I'm always saying, "Oh, you should talk to..." and making connections so that people can continue to leverage. It's all about who you know, what you know, and what you're building as well. But it really helps to have good connections.
