How would you describe people who typically thrive in this room?
Right now, it's a bit of a mixed bag. Aerospace is a slower-moving industry, so there's an abundance of older people who have been doing it for decades. I highly respect the amount of history and legacy that they've lived through and helped create.
That said, there's obviously a wide variety of people in the workforce now. I think it takes people who can appreciate the legacy and also build on it in a prudent way. This means not just disregarding the history that has helped us get to where we are today.
Instead, we should build on that history and try to connect people from all backgrounds and age groups.
