What is one lesson that you've learned that has proven significant in your career?
There are lessons that other people learn, and then there are lessons that you, as a young professional, are going to learn. The beauty is in learning them on your own.
I don't necessarily think there's something universally applicable, but I've certainly made mistakes that impacted me and some that didn't. The biggest lesson I've had to learn is to find a mentor.
That would probably be one of the better lessons: find someone seasoned in their career, whether they're in your network or within the company. Someone who can look out for you and provide an unbiased perspective on what you're going through in your career. That's been invaluable to me and other professionals I've worked with.
