What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
In my current role, I actually wear a lot of different hats on our team. Program management is a term that encompasses a very broad set of things people can do in different organizations.
In a nutshell, and I think this speaks to most program management roles in the tech industry, I do a lot of work being the connective tissue of our team. This involves connecting not only within our team, the larger US content team, but also doing a lot of our cross-functional projects, keeping people updated, and keeping tabs on things.
I also develop a lot of different systems and processes for our team to ensure that things run efficiently and equitably. Additionally, I do a lot of external-facing work, particularly with vendors that support our team's work and with partners. We develop a number of courses and initiatives with external partners, so I manage those relationships as well.
