Biggest Challenges Faced by a Senior Manager Newsroom at Salesforce
Sammy's biggest challenge as a Senior Manager at Salesforce is the company's rapid pace and shifting priorities, requiring "really agile" adaptation and a willingness to "build the plane as you're flying it." This dynamic environment, while demanding, maintains a high level of engagement and prevents stagnation.

What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
My biggest challenge is that we work for an 80,000-person company. It's big, but sometimes operates like a startup, so we move very fast.
Priorities shift quickly. One minute you could be working toward one initiative, and the next, it's changed.
You have to be really agile and willing to change things on the fly. Often, you're building the plane as you're flying it, as the analogy goes.
This can be hard if you're more of a control freak or like to operate in clear swim lanes. But it also keeps things really interesting.
