Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Please include any internships or jobs you had before your current role.
No problem. My experience in college began at the University of Arizona from 2011 to 2014, where I participated in several internships.
One role was as a Monster representative. I distributed Monster Energy cans across campus to various organizations, fraternities, sororities, and other student groups. I also presented new, unreleased flavors to them.
Each week, I completed write-ups and took about five to six photos. This was a valuable college experience, allowing me to meet people I wouldn't typically interact with by simply walking around and handing out products.
Additionally, I worked for a company called Just College. This company promoted parties and events. I was responsible for getting people to sign up for college packages that included trips to destinations like Vegas, California, or Mexico.
It was fulfilling to sell people the idea of fun college experiences and vacations. I also started a landscaping company during high school that continued into college.
My brother and I owned this student landscaping business for about six or seven years, with about 10 friends working for us. Every summer, we marketed our services in my hometown of Naperville.
The name "college student landscaping" was attractive to customers. People preferred hiring us over larger companies, wanting to support college students and help us earn money. These were the primary opportunities I had during college.
