As someone who identifies as Hispanic, how has that impacted how you've navigated your career?
I've been proud of my heritage, and I know other communities are proud too. It's amazing.
I attended events from Latinas in Tech, which were incredible. You meet people whose parents might be from near your hometown. So, I think being proud of your heritage and your accent makes a big difference in whichever area you're focusing on.
When you're not afraid of rejection anymore, it's like another level. You become more willing to be yourself and dress how you like. It's amazing when you're confident in your skills, your abilities, and the background that you carry.
