What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
One of the biggest challenges, aside from ensuring the power system is operated reliably for residential and commercial use, is that the inner workings of operating a power system often go unappreciated. Many people flip on a light switch and don't think about what it takes to make those lights come on.
However, engineers don't do this work for appreciation or glory. They do it because they have a responsibility to society to maintain critical infrastructure.
