What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?
I think the things I enjoy most are being interested in the latest and greatest technology and the latest advancements. I've been in medical devices for a long time and worked on ventilators during the pandemic.
But I worked on autonomous vehicles when I was in college, as a very basic project. Now to see that they're starting to appear everywhere, I was really excited to get into that space.
I want to be working on technology that's cutting edge and new. The hope is that, 10, 15 years down the road, it's like smartphones.
Smartphones came out and they were new, and not everybody had them. Now it's like everybody has them; they're just ubiquitous. So, I think it's exciting to be on the forefront.
There's a lot of motivation when you're creating something new, especially when it's a new complete arena or industry. I think my excitement is definitely around what technology can do and how it can improve our social environments.
