What have you learned about this role that you wish someone had told you before you entered the industry?
I entered the industry straight out of school as a mechanical engineer, going into a Big Four firm. Frankly, I had no idea what I was getting into.
What I can say is that being able to pivot and be flexible in your approach is crucial. It's also important to be able to multitask and manage various people, both at your clients and internally.
Having that flexibility while understanding you have to manage the expectations of a multitude of people is key. I wish I had been told more about that. I learned on the job what works and what doesn't.
