What does a day in the life of a senior manager look like?
My day starts and ends with calls. There are a lot of calls throughout the day because I manage stakeholders across the board, both internally and externally.
I start my day at either eight or nine, depending on how busy I am and how many calls I have. I kickstart almost all my days with calls. The first hour or two is spent on the phone, just making sure I have all the information I need to deliver the project or collect anything specific.
Then, I block time in my calendar to work on deliverables. I wrap up my day with calls as well. I try to finish the call portion of everything by 6:00 PM and not let it spill into my personal time.
