What do you enjoy most about being in your role?
I enjoy my staff. I get to work with some amazing people, and a lot of people come up to me and say, "Your staff is the greatest." And I say, "I know."
So, number one would definitely be the people I get to work with every day. The second thing is I love being out in the community. I love being able to volunteer and donate to nonprofits.
It’s rewarding to just be a part of the fabric of Sacramento. There's a job that, yes, has some in-office stuff, but also a lot of community touches, and that's very critical to me. Those are the two things that make me go to work every day.
