What does the day in the life of a director of community relations look like?
No one day is the same, which is why I love my job. Some days I'm just in meetings all day, and other days I'm out in the community.
Today, I woke up and was able to go to a Go Red event. It's an event for a nonprofit, so it could be a nonprofit event I'm attending, or I could be in meetings all day.
I work directly with our board of directors, our chief executive officer, other executives, and my colleagues, who are also directors. So no one day is the same. It could be meetings, or it could be actually being out in the community tree planting, or being at a gala or another event.
