Could you walk me through your career path? Please start with your experiences in college, or any internships or jobs you had before your current role.

I actually started working on campus when I was at Woodbury University, my freshman year. I moved away from Woodbury and transferred to Sac State in 1992.

I worked campus jobs until I found Big Brothers Big Sisters through the Career Center in 1993. I stayed there from being an undergraduate sophomore all the way to becoming their CEO, for about 23 years.

I left that in 2016 and then became an executive director for the Nehemiah Community Foundation for three and a half years. Then I landed here at SUD six years ago, where I've been in the community relations department since I started.
