What does a day in the life of a supply chain and operations manager look like?

A typical day for me depends. The face of consulting has changed a lot throughout the years. Typically, there was travel every single week, Monday through Thursday, but now we've shifted more to a hybrid model.

There are some occasions where I am traveling Monday through Thursday, on site with my team and the client team. This could be for a workshop or just problem-solving sessions.

Then there are times when we're working remotely. We're also working with folks offshore and time zone considerations come into play.

Overall, typical responsibilities lie around problem-solving with the client. This involves doing different analysis, interviews, and presenting our findings. We iterate that process until we come to a solution that the client needs.
