What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
One of the things I enjoy most is that every day feels different. My role involves a lot of strategic thinking: what makes a good partner, what type of partner should I pursue, and then facilitating that arrangement.
This definitely energizes me. But what's even more important, and why I'm so happy in my current role, is something people entering this field should consider. It's crucial to believe in your company's mission and enjoy the space or product you're selling.
You'll be talking about it every single day. If you don't care about it or find it interesting, it'll be harder to enjoy your workday. For me, my company, Paradigm, is in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space.
This is something I'm deeply passionate about personally. Being able to communicate that in my professional job and focus on it daily is very important to me. It's made a significant difference in my enjoyment of the work I do.
