Transcript

How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?

I would describe them as empathetic and passionate. Recruitment used to have a bad name for itself, seen as a financial-driven, KPI-driven sales environment.

However, things have really changed over the last couple of years, especially since the pandemic. Many mindsets have shifted, and people have gained a new perspective on everything.

This includes recruitment. It's about being able to empathize with someone about their situation and genuinely wanting to help them. Playing a significant part in someone else's life is what truly drives us as recruiters.

Having that much responsibility means you have to be empathetic to whatever it is that they're going through.
