What are some of your main responsibilities within your current role?

I'm currently at Broadcom as a staff applications engineer for the Core Switch group. My role involves helping customers get to production as quickly as possible.

This includes developing market strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams. I also write code and documentation customers need to accelerate their production timelines.

A significant part of my work is establishing support structures for new projects. This means figuring out how to best support a customer or user starting their own hardware design, as well as the software stack they build.

I work directly with specific customers or product lines throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to post-release support. These are my main responsibilities.

Additionally, I write a lot of collateral documentation and review architecture specifications shared between internal and external teams, as well as end-users. I've written thousands of pages of technical documentation explaining product capabilities.

This documentation helps customers make informed decisions about purchasing and working with our products.

I collaborate with major Broadcom customers like Microsoft, Arista, Google, and Facebook. We aim to ensure they can efficiently develop their products and applications at scale.
