Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Then, could you share any internships or jobs you had before your current role?

I did my undergrad at UC Davis, in Davis, California, a small college town close to Sacramento. I had a really great experience in college.

I initially came in as a bioengineering undergrad but switched to electrical engineering my sophomore year. I also had an internship at a small semiconductor firm called Renaissance.

My typical undergrad experience involved meeting people and taking classes relevant to my current field. That's one of the greatest things about an engineering bachelor's degree: you gain hands-on skills directly applicable to your career.

Beyond my core electrical engineering classes, I took extra computer science courses I thought would be useful. I graduated around 2015. If I had stayed another quarter at UC Davis, I would have earned a minor in computer science.

These additional lower-division computer science classes were very helpful in preparing for interviews at many tech companies.
