What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I really enjoy the opportunity to learn about many types of businesses across interesting sectors. I spend a lot of time in consumer products or healthcare, for example.
I like finding what is special and unique about every business we come across. But I also enjoy learning to recognize the patterns that are similar across businesses.
Over time, you start to get a sense for what typically makes a business successful and what can cause challenges. So I really enjoy that.
I constantly think about those risks and opportunities and really predict which businesses might be more successful than others.
