What does a day in the life of a private equity professional in the West look like?
Sure. I'm oftentimes working on several different projects at once, so my days can be pretty varied.
In terms of responsibilities, some days I spend more time in Excel doing quantitative analysis. Other days, I might have more meetings or Zoom calls around strategic projects or performing diligence on a new investment opportunity.
Some days I might spend more of my time on logistics related to keeping projects moving. So it might be a lot of emails and coordinating.
But, no, I'd say every day is pretty interesting because it really can vary quite a lot.
