What are your main responsibilities within your current role?

I currently manage a caseload of about 40 to 60 juveniles who are facing criminal cases in Los Angeles County. My branch court is in Englewood, and I'm officially assigned to STAR Court.

STAR Court focuses on victims of human trafficking who are also charged with crimes and are juveniles. I also have a handful of other caseloads from picking up cases through a matrix with my colleagues.

So, not all my cases are STAR Court cases. I manage anywhere between 40 to 60 cases, including at least 30 minors. All of them are at various stages in the juvenile justice system.
