What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?

What I enjoy most is learning about our products. Sonoco creates thousands and thousands of products, and I enjoy spending time with product developers and product managers. It's exciting to see what their current products are, what the next exciting product will be, or a paper product that isn't out yet.

It's exciting to see how our product designers and product managers think about customer products. They take into consideration every single detail.

For instance, they'll discuss how a package opens, if it's resellable, how long it will last, or how it will hold up to air pressure or shipping. It's exciting to see the next line of products or the future of products before anyone else.

I get to see new, customized products for customers even before they're launched, a year or two from now. I get to see and test those products, and that's the best part. I think that's so exciting.
