What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I represent franchisees, who are always individuals. They come to me at a point of need, either looking to enter franchising without much knowledge or already in and facing a problem.
Sometimes these problems are significant. People typically don't consult lawyers unless they have an issue. My role is to help them, analyze their problem, propose solutions, and work through it.
This can be difficult, as they may not always have the strongest legal standing. However, you can still help by explaining the situation and seeking a resolution.
When you achieve a resolution, you have clients who are real people, and you've made a tangible difference. That is the most rewarding aspect of my work.
