What skills are most important for a job like yours?

We're fortunate that between the four partners, we have complementary skill sets. The overlap lies in our ability to step back and manage from a higher level.

When working with early-stage entrepreneurs, they often want everything immediately. So, it's important to be diligent about managing expectations. We need to be empathetic and understand their vision.

Then, we also need to have a macro view: Will the market adopt this? Is it viable? This requires interpersonal skills to manage client expectations and truly understand what they're saying.

We translate their ideas from layman's terms into technical needs, working on both the technical and interpersonal sides. Beyond that, when we're product-focused, we look beyond immediate needs to see what the market is looking for. This means having that macro view beyond just the immediate product requirements.
