Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Do you have any internships or jobs you had before your current role?

I went to undergrad at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. During my time there, I majored in business administration and minored in mathematical decision sciences.

After my freshman and sophomore years, I interned at a large asset management company called LSV Capital, based out of Chicago. I worked with them as an early analyst, doing public market research and recommendations to their partners.

After my junior year, I worked for Anheuser-Busch, or AB InBev, on the global side in their revenue management department. I worked in their New York office, primarily focused on Bud Light and a few other large brands within the company. I worked on various revenue management strategies and pilots they were rolling out across the Northeast.

Upon graduation, I accepted a full-time job with Anheuser-Busch in their revenue management department. I spent two years there, out of their Atlanta Southeast headquarters, working with high-end and craft brands across Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina.

In 2019, I had the opportunity to move over to Cousins Properties in Atlanta, which is a commercial real estate company focused on development and leasing within the Sunbelt. I used my financial background from college and internships there as their lead analyst, working with the CFO for all public reporting. My main focus was earnings materials.

Leading to where I am today, after a year at Cousins, I had the opportunity to come over to Hyperspace and join as their fourth partner. I primarily focused on the venture arm that we were starting when I came in. Currently, that is still my main focus: to lead the venture arm at Hyperspace.
