What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?

What I enjoyed was working in an industry space with technology I was passionate about. This included sports science, player tracking, and workload management – topics I was very interested in. In my spare time, I'd research how these could be applied.

This passion led to the second most interesting part of my work: I was trusted to be a consultant for many of the teams I worked with. I worked with pretty much the entire NBA Western Conference. My time at the Pacers meant many people across the league knew of me.

It's a small community, and they knew my manager well. He was well-established in the NBA, one of the second longest-tenured strength coaches. Because of this, they were familiar with my work and would consult with me.

I had a significant role in helping teams plan their short-term and long-term athlete strategy. This involved not just integrating my technology, but also all the other technologies they were using.
