What have you learned about this role that you wish someone would have told you before you entered the industry?

There are many more opportunities in education than people realize. You might think you'll teach, or perhaps become a principal, and that the professional potential ends there.

But no, there are actually numerous opportunities within the education sector. This includes public education, charter schools, and colleges and universities.

There are also opportunities outside of traditional institutions. In my work, I've partnered with different vendors, and there are opportunities to work in that area as well.

I wish someone had told me that working in education isn't just about being a teacher or a principal. There are many other adjacent or key areas within education that you can pursue if you're interested.
