What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
I currently work as the Vice President of Program Innovation at a charter school network. I oversee a component of our curriculum and instruction, specifically our innovative programs.
Currently, this includes blended learning and personalized learning initiatives across the network. I lead a team that oversees these programs, sets the vision, plans for training, and monitors data to check on implementation and impact.
Because my title is Program Innovation, I also regularly work on unique projects that come up. During the pandemic, our switch to online learning was a key piece, and I had a heavy hand in planning for that for the network.
The following year, we had a combination of some online school that we were trying to launch as we started to go back to regular instruction. I've even worked with athletics and how athletics is part of our work. A lot of unique things come up for my role because it is kind of a little bit of everything and unique opportunities that arise.
